Thus, the purchase of patents, the description of Springpower technologies for the production of Tesla 4680 batteries, and several other factors indicate that the two companies have close cooperation, and perhaps hint at something more, such as an acquisition. Buying the patent application means that when the patent itself was finally granted in January, it was issued to Tesla, with no mention of Springpower. Two weeks before Battery Day, Tesla purchased a number of patent applications from Springpower International, a small company based just outside Toronto, for a grand total of $3, according to public records. There is no physical damage, never been dropped or gotten wet, nothing that I can see that would affect charge and im going to be annoyed at having to do a second warranty replacement.
Is it possible that I've just gotten unlucky and received 2 faulty products in a row? My friends also have UE boom speakers which have no issue charging with the same cords that won't work with mine. I had misplaced the original box with the factory cord in it and am wondering if any issue can be caused by charging with a third party usb. I had it replaced under warranty, no biggie, but now I'm having the same issue with the replacement except it won't charge from the getgo.
The charging light won't light up and it wouldn't take any charge at all until it was simply not able to be turned on anymode. Factory reset did nothing, tried different outlets and cords with no success. I bought a UE Boom 3 in March, it was able to be charged once and then just stopped working.
